Strava Support Coordination

Cassandra is a qualified Social Worker and experienced Support Coordinator, with over 20 years’ experience in government and community services sectors, working across all levels of government and with non-profit and private support organisations.  She has experience in specialist and management level roles, with a focus on disability and aged care.  She also has lived experienced within the NDIS, supporting a family member with a psychosocial disability on their NDIS journey.  Cassandra is registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and is working towards accreditation as an Accredited Disability Social Worker.  Cassandra is passionate about supporting participants using a strengths-based approach, focused on capacity-building, and seeing them achieve their goals and aspirations.  

Cassandra specialises in working with NDIS participants with cognitive and neurological conditions, including neurodegenerative conditions, Autism, and psychosocial disabilities.  She has experience supporting participants with home and living options, including Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and Supported Independent Living (SIL), and participants with complex needs requiring assistance with managing connections between the NDIS and mainstream supports such as the education, justice, child protection, and healthcare systems, the Office of the Public Advocate, and State Trustees.  

Cassandra provides face-to-face Level 2 Coordination of Supports and Specialist Support Coordination services in locations including Bendigo, Ballarat, and North-West metropolitan Melbourne, and the Local Government Areas of Mount Alexander, Macedon Ranges, Central Goldfields, and Hepburn Shires.
