Michelle has worked in the disability sector for more than 12 years and is passionate about helping participants achieve meaningful outcomes through compassionate and practical support. While she has a particular interest in working with children, adolescents, and their families, Michelle enjoys supporting participants of all ages and is committed to building strong, collaborative relationships that empower people to reach their goals.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours (Fourth Year Psychology) and has extensive experience in case management, supporting children and young people with complex needs, and co-ordinating services across the disability, education, child protection, healthcare, and allied health sectors. She enjoys bringing multidisciplinary teams together to ensure supports are connected, practical, and focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for each participant.
In addition to her work in disability, Michelle has experience providing crisis support and critical incident debriefing through Employee Assistance Programs. This has strengthened her ability to remain calm under pressure, navigate complex situations, support individuals and families during times of uncertainty, and find practical solutions.
As a Support Co-ordinator, Michelle is a passionate advocate who believes every participant deserves to understand their NDIS plan and access the supports they need to achieve their goals. She works alongside participants, families, and service providers to make the NDIS easier to navigate, ensuring supports are coordinated, funding is used effectively, and participants feel informed, confident, and supported throughout their journey.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time riding her horses and working in the garden. She loves being outdoors and values the opportunity to slow down and recharge, bringing the same calm, positive, and practical approach into her work every day.
